Funko Funatics!

Congratulations to George and Craig S. of Calgary, Alberta for being the latest K-Dog & Fish Funko Funatics of the Week!

Here is George & Craig's Funko story: 

I got into collecting Funko in July 2019 when I stumbled upon You Tuber Top Pops, one day I was just going through YouTube and stumbled past Top Pops and I decided two watch some of his videos, then a few days later I ask my Dad to take me to have a look at some funko pops and that is when my Dad bought me my first Funko pop witch was the Patrick Star (559) and the Squidward Tentacles (560). It has just snowballed from there to where between the two of us have collected 653 pops and soda cans to date and counting.

We started by hunting on weekends to see what I could find, this is also when my Dad became interested once he saw what he could collect. It was on one of these hunt that I found my first grail Kurama (glow) at a thrift store.

My favourite Pop is a tough one. Franken Berry or Aswang would have to be one of my favourites but there's a few I could choose from. For me (George) I like to collect the Rick and Morty and my Dad (Craig) collects the Flintstones. But together we collect Ad icons and the Venom line and tons of other pops which we think are cool. A grail I would like to add to my collection is Speedy Gonzales from looney tunes and Toucan Sam. My Dads would be Freddy Funko as ghost rider and the Flocked Tony the Tiger.

We also found out about K-Dog & Fish through Top Pops he put out a new video opening soda and he said he got some from kdogandfish so I told my Dad and we looked up their website and started watching the Instagram lives and auction. We thoroughly enjoyed their shows and found them to be a lot of fun and loved how they are so committed to their customers and the funko community in general here in Canada. Awesome Guys! Just wish I lived closer so I could come and visit the store.

A POP! I’m looking most forward to the Eddie Brock/Venom black light and My Dads would have to be the Nightmare before Christmas Train.
