Just as we predicted last week, 'The Predator' was number 1 at the Box Office this past weekend! We know what we're talking about lol! That drops last week's #1 'The Nun' into 2nd place with a two week total of $85M, impressive for a budget of only $22M. Opening this Weekend in 3rd place with $16M the Anna Kendrick & Blake Lively thriller 'A Simple Favor'. In 4th place was a another new release the crime drama based on a true story 'White Boy Rick' starring Matthew McConaughey & rounding out the top 5 dropping from 3rd place last week is the theatrical hit 'Crazy Rich Asians'.

Coming to theatres this Weekend is the Fantasy children's book adaptation 'The House With A Clock In Its Walls' & from "This Is Us' creator Dan Fogelman, his Drama 'Life Itself'. Not sure if either could take #1 this weekend, so we could see a repeat of 'The Predator' in first place although the opening weekend wasn't exactly a smash hit with only a $24M domestic haul. Let's say then our prediction will be a coin flip between 'The House With A Clock In Its Walls' & 'The Predator' repeating at #1. It will be very close.
