Funko Funatics!

Congratulations to Samira Ann Soltani, of Kansas City, Missouri for being the K-Dog & Fish Funko Funatic of the Week! 

Samira, just 4 years old, is already well on her way to being one of the biggest and brightest Funko collectors in the whole world! 

Samira has been collecting with her father, Fred (aka MK Fraysol) for a couple years now and is holding up two of her favourites in the picture above (Draculaura from Monster High and Elsa from Frozen II). 

Samira's father sent this in to us: 

"Our story is one where we were looking for something that we could do together to help us bond and become closer than ever. It all started with one Funko (Elmo from Sesame Street) and the rest is history.

Together we visited stores and would shop for Funko together, but because of the recent pandemic we had to switch gears and decided to revive my hobby social media channel - Facebook Page: Straight Edge Reviews - to share Father & Daughter unboxing mystery Funko boxes and unknown-to-my-daughter Funko purchases as a hobby together. This hobby has even included doing an unboxing from you guys at K-Dog & Fish (watch it here)!" 

Well Samira, and of course Fred, first of all we want to thank you for sharing that unboxing video with us! We love seeing Samira light up and get excited over the pulls. We ourselves get just as excited when we receive our mail calls and open our hauls as well, so it's totally awesome that we have that in common!

Secondly, we think your collection is AMAZING. Certainly much, much, MUCH bigger than our Funko collections when we were 4 years old! You keep collecting and keep having fun hanging out with your dad! 

And Fred, < insert slow clap here > ... dude. You're awesome. That's a good dad story right there.
