Funko Funatics!

Congratulations to Matthew M. of Winnipeg, Manitoba for being the latest K-Dog & Fish Funko Funatic of the Week!

Here's what he had to say about us and his collection:

"I got into Funko Pops once the ‘Making Fun’ documentary came out. I saw Kevin Smith in it and that was enough for me to turn into a 'fanatic'. I was gifted one YEARS ago for my birthday, not having a clue what it really was or what basically what would turn into. But it was the Animal Pop from the Muppets. I said 'oh this is cool, I’ll use it for my desk at home' and tossed the box! It is has now been long lost and I'm kicking myself for it. So that is technically my first pop, but when I started actually collecting a bit more seriously, one of my earlier Pops was the Secret Stash exclusive Kevin Smith Pop.

The pops I collect are basically just things that are special to me. Star Wars and Marvel would be my main lines of pops. But also in my collection you’ll find DC, lots of cartoon shows, The Office, classic comedy movie Pops and some music and older 80's & 90's wrestlers.

My favourite pop in my collection, and probably will always be my favourite, is the Silent Bob Pop from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. The number one pop I’m looking to add to my collection is the Groot with Mixtape Pop.

I discovered K-Dog and Fish through Top Pops. As soon as the pandemic hit I had discovered his YouTube channel and immediately found out about K-Dog and Fish and my bank account hasn’t been the same since lol!

Jokes aside, K-Dog and Fish have helped me with my collection and what it is today. Being a Winnipeg boy myself, that is definitely something we have in common and another reason I like them! "Gingerales" will be on me the next time the boys visit the Peg!"
