We predicted last week that the new Horror film 'The Curse of La Llorona' would be your #1 movie at the Box Office this past Easter weekend & we were correct! Horror always does well, 'Shazam' was going into its 3rd week & there was really nothing else new strong enough to challenge it. So first place did go to 'The Curse of La Llorona' with $26.3M, an impressive opening weekend on a budget of only $9M. 'Shazam' dropped into 2nd place with $16.4M and a domestic total now of over $120M. In 3rd place with $11.2M was a new movie 'Breakthrough' starring Chrissy Metz from TV's 'This Is Us'. It's about a mother of a 14-year-old son that drowns in a lake & prays for him to come back from the brink of death. 'Captain Marvel' came in 4th with $9.1M & has now earned over $400M domestic & over $1B worldwide! Dropping from 2nd place the previous weekend & rounding out the top spots in 5th was 'Little' with $8.3M.

Opening in theatres this coming weekend is 'Avengers: Endgame'. Mic Drop! Lol, not even a question, it will be the #1 movie at the Box Office, this coming weekend and for quite a few weekends to come. It will smash all kinds of Box Office records in the process. So to make our prediction a little more challenging we will predict the totals it will bring in! We think 'Avengers: Endgame' will have the highest grossing Opening Weekend All-Time with $275M Domestic & $425M Foreign for a 3 day worldwide total of $700M! Of course if it does reach these totals it will only be beating its own record from 'Avengers: Infinity War' that they set last year!
