Funko Funatics!

Congratulations to Shane M. of Orillia, Ontario for being the latest K-Dog & Fish Funko Funatic of the Week!  

From Shane (or, for those who tune in for our 4 O'Clock Fridays and Live Auction Garage Sales on Instagram Live, you may recognize Shane as 'zombieshaner'):

"I’ve been a Marvel fan, and more specifically a Spider-Man fan, since I was a little kid, and when I saw my first Spider-Man Pop, I had to have it! That was back in 2013 or so, and from then on, I started getting different Pops for Christmas and birthdays from family and friends.

When I started attending conventions, I started buying Pops that I could get signed by the different celebrities that were there and have a pretty good collection of autographed Pops! I only collect Pops that I like, regardless of their trending value, which is mostly Marvel, Star Wars, some movies, and the television shows that I really like. Recently I have started collecting a few Freddy Funko Pops that I like.

My favorite Pop in my collection is my Stan Lee Canadian convention Pop, that is autographed by Stan the Man himself! This is my favorite Pop for sentimental reasons, and because it was my first and only time meeting the legend I had grown up admiring. A grail that I wish I could get in my collection is the Freddy Funko as Pennywise Pop.

My sister works in Bracebridge, and when she found K-Dog & Fish, she knew I would fall in love, and she was right! Walking into that store for the first time, pre-covid, was both magical and surreal; everywhere you turned there were Pops staring back at you! That very day I found K-Dog & Fish on Instagram and started following them, and I am so glad I did. Not only have they helped me to get some of the coolest exclusives in my collection, but they have also provided hours upon hours of entertainment, the most amazing giveaways, auctions that will blow your mind, and mystery boxes that never disappoint!

Through them and because of them, I have also met and become friends with some of the most amazing people who have the same interests as me when it comes to collecting. They have truly created a Community of Collectors, and have taken care of each and every one of us with the most amazing customer service I have ever seen! Since I found K-Dog & Fish back in February, my collection has grown from about 20 or so Pops, to over 200 Pops! Thank you again for everything you do for the Funko community K-Dog & Fish!!"
