Funko Funatics!

Congratulations to Kyle & Marissa M. of Hamilton, Ontario for being the latest K-Dog & Fish Funko Funatics of the Week!



Here is their Funko Story:

Our Funko journey started in 2016 for our four year anniversary, Kyle bought Marissa the two Bella Twins (from WWE) "Total Divas" Funko Pops because she is a big fan of the Bella's. In the card it read "I know they're toys so you don't have to keep them, I just thought they were neat" .... needless to say, she kept them. We started with two, now we have .... a lot.

The core sections of our collection are WWE and Marvel. For Marvel we started with the Avengers and expanded outward from there with the different sets and characters. With WWE we started collecting our favourite wrestlers and ended up just wanting them all (how could we not?)

 We try to stick with our main collection but have expanded a bit with miscellaneous pops of our favourite things such as the Simpsons, Disney, Harry Potter and our favourite Movies/TV Shows – things we enjoy individually or together that are nostalgic to us! We've also dabbled a little bit with Marvel Legends replicas, which fit in perfectly with our marvel pops and scenes.

Marissa's favourites are her Gilmore Girls set, Arthur and DW, and the Step Brothers set. Kyle is difficult (lol) and doesn't have a specific favourite pop (how could he pick just one/one set?!) He likes all of our pops - our entire collection as a whole! But if he had to choose his favourite is our WWE collection because they aren’t bobble heads!



Grails we are searching for are some of the original/early waves of WWE pops (CM Punk, AJ Lee, Rey Mysterio etc.) and WWE Chases. We are missing: Kevin Nash, Jake the Snake, Iron Sheik and Naomi. For Marvel we are searching for Loki with the Tesseract.

We heard of K-Dog and Fish through Top Pops. We discovered him during quarantine last year - we went down a Top Pop's rabbit hole and saw the episode where he got the keys to the store! Checked you guys out on social media and have been a part of the community ever since. We join every Garage Sale and the 4 O'Clock Friday show! 

We continue to expand with all the new WWE waves and Marvel as new shows and movies are released....what else can we say we are hooked!
