Funko Funatics!

Congratulations to Krishit K. of Burnaby, British Columbia for being the latest K-Dog & Fish Funko Funatic of the Week!!

Here is Krishit's story:

I was first introduced to Funko Pops in 2019 by my girlfriend - she had a few out-of-box figures. She gifted me my first Pop (Thor #286). It was January 2020 when I started to get to know more about it and realized how many are out there.

I heard about K-dog and Fish from a Top Pops video and at that time I was very new to collecting and did not know many retailers. At that time my collection was less than 30 Pops and I was looking for Thor #482 from endgame and I looked on their website and it was sold out. I DM'd them on Instagram asking if they had more but I did not expect anything. They replied pretty quickly and not only that they also added one of those to their website just for me. Then they became my go-to place for Funko, looking at their YouTube videos and their Instagram Live streams made me realize how welcoming and nice people in the Funko community are.

Since then, mine and my girlfriend’s collection has grown to over 450 pieces (the majority of them are mine LOL). I mainly collect Marvel Funko as you can see. Everything that I know about collecting Funko has come directly or indirectly from K-dog and Fish. It has not been the best financial decision, but I love every piece in my collection. 4’O clock Fridays have become a regular tradition of mine and even though I haven’t bought a lot of stuff from the LIVE Garage Sales it is always fun to participate - oh and the mystery boxes are awesome. I also have a small ‘sticker wall’ besides one of my shelves and that was also started from K-dog and Fish stickers.

I recently got a metallic Dr. Doom and the OG Avengers set which, to be completely honest, I never even imagined that I would own when I first started collecting.

I hope that after the pandemic is over, I can visit the store for private shopping with K-Dog and Fish, where K-Dog can butcher all the Pokémon names and my girlfriend can get annoyed.

Lastly, hopefully, Funko makes you guys the Funko Shop exclusive spot for Canada, you guys are amazing and truly are “THE FUNKO GUYS OF CANADA!"
