Here is John's Funko Story:
First thanks for considering me for the Funatic of the week. I first got into collecting Funko about 3 years ago with my son Cal. After a soccer tournament in Michigan he convinced me to go to the Motor city comic con in Detroit. I was hooked.
My first Pop was as the always loveable Brad Marchand. Like most collectors I went all out. Trying to get as many pops as I could. Now I have trimmed down a lot. I try and keep my collection between 400-450 Funko’s. that’s all I have room for to display. I try and concentrate on the Funko line, Spastik Plastik, pop rocks and a few more older lines.
Just Over a year ago after 20 years of Barbering I decided to put a shop in the house. Turned out great and now I have a little more room for more Funko’s. favorite Funko is like picking a favourite child. But I have to go with my first big purchase Misfits Feind autographed.
How did I hear about K Dog and Fish? Like most Canadian collectors it started as word of mouth then the mystery boxes selling out so quick. Glad I found them. Great prices great support super friendly and you can’t beat the shipping.
