Last week we were a little torn with our prediction, but ultimately decided the new thriller 'The Invisible Man' starring Elisabeth Moss would be the new #1 movie at the Box Office, and that is what happened 😉.

'The Invisible Man', with an opening weekend of $29M, was your new #1 movie this past weekend! Dropping to 2nd place was 'Sonic the Hedgehog' with $16M, and the little Blue Speedster now has a domestic total of over $128M! In 3rd place with $13.3M was 'Call of the Wild', 4th place went to a new Anime feature 'My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising' with $5.8M and rounding out the top spots in 5th place with $4.3M was 'Bad Boys for Life'. It also now has a worldwide total now of over $405M and the studio has officially announced another sequel is on the way!

There are a few new movies opening this coming weekend including 'Emma' the latest Jane Austen novel adaptation. As well, opening this weekend is 'The Way Back', a heartfelt drama starring Ben Affleck about a former HS basketball phenom, struggling with alcoholism, being offered a coaching job at his alma mater. Last but not least, also opening in theatres is the latest animated film from Disney/Pixar, 'Onward' with voices provided by Tom Holland & Chris Pratt! It's hard to bet against Disney/Pixar so our official prediction is that 'Onward' will be the new #1 movie at the Box Office after this coming weekend. Thank you so much for tuning in to these weekly Box Office reports!
