One of the greatest goal-scorers the NHL has ever seen, Alex Ovechkin was drafted first overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals. Long considered the arch-rival of Sidney Crosby, Alex should be allowed to stand in his own category of greatness. In just 15 seasons, Ovechkin is an 11-time All-Star, having won the Calder Trophy (Rookie MVP), 3 Hart Trophies (MVP), 1 Art Ross (Points Leader), 9 Rocket Richard Trophies (Goal Leader; a record), 1 Conn Smythe (Playoff MVP) and his crowning achievement, a Stanley Cup in 2018. The only questions that remains for Alex between now and retiring from the NHL are how many more awards he'll accumulate, Stanley Cups and whether or not he'll break Wayne Gretzky's Career Goals Scored record.
