Larry Bird is a retired, American-born NBA superstar who played his entire career with the Boston Celtics.

Drafted 6th overall by the Celtics in 1978, Bird would go on to play 13 seasons, being named an NBA All-Star 12 times. He won the MVP award three consecutive years (1984-1986) and also won 3 NBA Championships. 

Bird was also a member of the Gold-Medal-Winning 1992 US Men's Olympic Basketball team, known as the 'Dream Team'. 

Fox Sports rated Bird the greatest NBA small forward of all-time and was rated the greatest Boston Celtic player of all-time by MSN Sports. 

As of 2020, Bird is the only person in NBA history to be named Rookie of the Year, MVP, NBA Finals MVP, All-Star MVP, Coach of the Year and Executive of the Year.
