So after a delay Funko FINALLY revealed the Exclusives for this year's NYCC Virtual Con! It also didn't help that after the delay there was a social media blackout and both FB & IG were both down on the day they were supposed to be announced lol! So all that being said, here is our TOP 10 List of Pops we are excited to get for NYCC 2021!
Again this is our Top 10 list, there are even more Exclusives being shared for this event. At the end of this Blog we will also post where they are being shared for you to grab Oct 7th - 8th!
10. DIAMOND EEVEE
It's become a Virtual Con tradition now that there will be some variant of a Pokémon character as an Exclusive! We saw Flocked as the theme last year and this year it's Diamond! We have already seen Diamond Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle in 2021 and now it's Eevee's turn for NYCC.
9. X-MEN - POLARIS
There were a bunch of Marvel Pops announced for NYCC 2021, but this one is interesting! They have not made a Polaris from X-Men Pop before so it will be the first for the character as well the Glow will look nice on this Pop!
8. DISNEY - STITCH IN ROLLERS
I mean come on?!? This is adorable! Disney collectors get ready for another cute Stitch variant, this time in hair rollers and holding a drawing! This will be a popular "must-have". Check at the bottom of this post to see where it will be shared!

We are the Can Guys! So our next few choices on our Top 10 List go to Funko Soda Exclusives announced for NYCC 2021, starting with this wicked Poison Ivy Vinyl Soda Figure with a 1 in 6 chance at a Diamond Glitter CHASE 😱
6. MARVEL: GUARDIANS - ROCKET FUNKO SODA CAN
Next on our list is a Rocket Funko Soda Can Exclusive from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 with a 1 in 6 chance at a Flocked CHASE 🔥 Can't wait for this one, had to make it on our Top 10! We would rank it even higher but there's so many other cool Pops we want to mention lol!
5. PUMPKIN MCNUGGET
It should come at no surprise that we are getting a new McNugget variant Exclusive! During the Summer convention this year we saw a Drummer McNugget and now for NYCC we will have an adorable Fall Pumpkin McNugget! What is also interesting is that this will be sold Exclusively on McDonald's website as well as the Funko Shop. I wonder how the McD'websitete will handle the traffic lol!
4. MOTU - SNAKE FACE
Another convention favourite, Masters of the Universe, is making a return for NYCC 2021! This time with a SNAKE FACE! First Pop for the MOTU Character and to be honest one of the coolest! Such amazing detail on this Pop! There will also be a Snake Face Funko Soda and a ROBOTO Soda! We actually just received limited quantities in the Funkon 2021 Summer convention Roboto Exclusive Pop! You can purchase clicking here!
3. MARVEL - CARNAGE
The new movie sequel Venom 2: Let there be Carnage was smashing it in theatres this past opening weekend with a Pandemic-Era box office record of $90M! No shock there is a wicked Carnage Exclusive for NYCC 2021! And this Pop looks sick! Looks like it will be shared with Walmart.
2. THE OFFICE - COUSIN MOSE
"You Must Vanquish Your Fear!" Fans of the classic TV series The Office can rejoice! We are finally getting a Cousin Mose Pop! He's Dwight's cousin if you are not familiar and works on the family Beet Farm lol! Funko kicked off the Summer with a Pop Rocks and music-inspired POP!A PALOOZA event! We're going to break down everything that was announced, offer up a closer look at the ones we're most excited about as well as provide you with links to where you can pre-order yours now from K-Dog & Fish! Let's do this...
Since we're approaching the end of June, the half-way point of 2021, we decided to hit pause and look back at some of our favourite Pops that have either been released or announced in 2021. Between the Funko Toy Fair, ECCC Spring Convention, Wondrous Con and general releases, 2021 has been an incredible year for Funko fans so far - dare we say one of the best?
Let's break down some of our favourites releases and announcements from 2021 thus far...
Masters of the Universe Man-At-Arms & Kobra Khan Soda Cans
Alright, so we may be a bit biased on these, as we were Canada's Exclusive Retailer for them, but the ECCC Spring Convention 2021 Masters of the Universe Man-At-Arms and Kobra-Khan Soda Cans definitely make our list of some of our favourite pops so far in 2021. Not only do they look super cool, but it's been a blast hearing from all of you about how much fun you've had opening them and how many of you have pulled Chases!
If you haven't scooped up one or both of these yet, you might as well grab a soda, guys! You can find them both here: Man-At-Arms & Kobra Khan.
30th Anniversary Deadpool in Cake
Funko decided to get into the Halloween spirit a little early this year by hosting the first-ever Funkoween: Halfway to Hallow's Eve celebration! They dedicated an entire week to dropping announcements and teasers of the Pops coming this Fall. Fans of the horror genre and all things spooky are going to LOVE what Funko has in store. Today, we plan to break down all the announcements and showcase everything that was announced, along with providing you links to the Pops that are available for Pre-Order right here on the K-Dog & Fish website.
Without further delay... let's dive in - who's ready to go Trick or Treating!
👻 DAY 1 👻
If yesterday was May the 4th, does that make today Revenge of the Fifth?
< insert Chewbacca's Wookie laughter >
Okay, okay, back on topic. As many of you know, yesterday was May the 4th and that meant A LOT of really exciting Star Wars news. Since there was a flurry of announcements, we're going to recap all of the Funko Star Wars news that dropped yesterday.
Kicking things off... we had the release of the first episode of the new Bad Batch series on Disney Plus, a continuation of super cool characters that we were first introduced to from The Clone Wars animated series. It was an extended 75-minute episode which was WICKED and has us super hyped for the rest of the first season. With the arrival of the Bad Batch series it also meant a wave of awesome Bad Batch Pops! Let's take a closer look ...
Featuring the core cast, Hunter, Echo, Tech, Crosshair & Wrecker, these Pops look incredible. Each Pop figure is highly detailed and showcases each characters' heightened ability from the series. We have these Pops available for pre-order individually, or you can Buy The Set and Save!
There were also a few Bad Batch Exclusives that were announced yesterday as well, a Target Exclusive Omega and a pair of Amazon Exclusives with the pins:
This. Pop. Is. SIIIICK! We don't want to get into spoiler territory, but you may just recognize one of his weapons, the Darksaber, that made an appearance in the Mandalorian series. But that's all we will say!
There were also some rumours swirling about a Star Wars Force Unleashed Starkiller Pop coming soon and a Knights of the Old Republic Darth Nihilus Glow Exclusive... but nothing concrete was announced about either of those.
Phew, that should cover everything. Again, don't miss the Bad Batch series on Disney+, you can watch a trailer for the series here and grab all your Bad Batch Pre-Order Funko Pops from K-Dog & Fish!
P.S. if you're reading this in time, we have a special Star Wars Flash Sale happening right now on our website with huge discounts on Star Wars Pop Deluxe Exclusives, Super Sized Pops and more! You can check out the Star Wars Flash by clicking here. The flash sale ends Thursday, May 6th at 11:59 PM.
We want to know which announcement from Star Wars Day has you most excited! Be sure to tell us on our Facebook Page or Instagram.
May the 4th... and may the force be with you always 🙏
]]>Continuing on with Funko's streak of Virtual Conventions, next up on the horizon is the Virtual Wondrous Con 2021 set to take place April 21st - 23rd, 2021. We're going to be showcasing the Pops that have been announced ahead of the event, sharing thoughts on our favourites and letting you know who the Shared Retailers are. Buckle in, hold on tight... here we go!
WonderCon 2021 - Pops Announced:
Coming on the heals of Funko Fair & ECCC, this might seem like a smaller batch than what we've been spoiled with so far this year, but there are still some real goodies in this mix. Let's take a closer look at our Top 3 Must-Have Pops:
Beauty And The Beast - Enchantress
We did not have this Pop on our radar at all, but are pleasantly surprised! Those familiar with the story of Beauty And The Beast will recognize this Pop right away. The Enchantress is a minor character from the 1991 Disney classic, but she played a major role in being the person to place the spell on the prince, castle and everyone in it. There is a great amount of detail on this Pop and we know both Disney & Beauty And The Beast fans will be going crazy for this one.
Star Wars - Stormtrooper
There is no such thing as too many Stormtrooper Pops and while Stormtroopers may struggle hitting anything with their blaster, we think this Pop is a huge hit! Love the gold colour and detail on this Pop.
DC - Atom
For DC collectors, you may remember - or already have - the Captain Atom Pop that was released at last year's Wonder Con, or The Atom Pop that was part of the Legends of Tomorrow Series. While Captain Atom is a different character entirely, the Legends of Tomorrow Atom was from the hit TV series. This Atom Pop is pulled directly from the DC comics and WOW does it ever look sick! Atom, or his real name Ray Palmer, has the ability to shrink or grow in size, which Funko has captured beautifully with this Pop. It will certainly be a difficult decision deciding whether or not to keep this Pop in-box, or display out-of-box. A great problem to have for those lucky enough to snag this Pop!
Funko also announced the shared retailers for the Wondrous Con Pops:
Canada:
USA:
For shared retailers from other countries, visit here.
We've covered the Pops that have been announced, our Top 3 and provided you with the list of shared retailers. So, how do have a chance to order them directly from Funko with the Con Sticker? Funko will be holding a lottery once again, which you can learn all about right here.
For those not lucky enough on the lottery, Funko has said these Pops will be available at the shared retailers beginning April 23rd at 9:00 AM EST.
So, what are your must-have's from this event? Let us know what your favourites are on social media!

Funko wished everyone an early Happy Target Con - which is scheduled for Friday, February 26th - by sharing a teaser and brief pre-orders of 6 Pops coming to Funko Target Con 2021!
Today we will be taking a closer look at the 6 Pops that were shared by Funko, a 10" Metallic Pop that has also been announced and speculating what the 7 remaining unannounced Pops could be!
Announced February 5th by Funko:
A great spread so far! That Otto Mann from the Simpsons looks so cool as he shreds that air guitar like nobody else can! Flocked Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog? Yes, Please! And can we just have a slow clap for that Pop Deluxe Skeletor on Throne?!? That will look incredible out of box. This wave also includes Colonel Mustard with the Revolver from Clue, along with another entry for the Candlyland series, Lord Licorice! Completing these reveals is Bullseye, the Target Ad Icon rocking his 2021 Target Con T-Shirt. Adorable. He looks like a tiny little human and we are living for it.
But that's not all... as part of the 25th Anniversary of Pokémon, Funko announced a 10" Metallic Pikachu!
What an absolutely head-spinning 2 weeks of Funko announcements as part of Funko Fair 2021. Thanks for tuning in to all of our Instagram Stories, Posts and Pre-Order announcements during that time!
As followers of all things Funko and pop culture, we knew that Funko Fair was coming and that it would be a multi-day event, but we had no idea the scale of Pops, Key-Chains, Soda Cans, Pins, Plushies and more that Funko would be announcing. It felt like every hour there was another wave announced - it was crazy!
Now, with so many really cool Funko announcements last week, we want to break them down so you are up to speed on all things Funko Fair 2021. Check out the image gallery and then down below we will share our Top 3 Must-Haves from the lot and provide a link to where you can make your pre-orders right here on kdogandfish.com
So without further adieu... here... we... go... !
Incredible, right? Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Naruto, Pokemon, Disney, Sports, Music and more... we're PUMPED for the number of awesome Pops and other Funko products coming down the pipe this year!
Let's break down our Top 3 Must Haves...
1. The Goonies - "Hey You Guuuuuuys!"
We have been talking about Funko making more Pops from this ultimate cult classic and one of our favourite movies of all-time for quite some time! While there is an "OG" line of Goonies Pops from 2014 - that are now vaulted - the detail improvements and overall look of these new ones look so much better. Is there anything funnier than Chunk with his shirt up or anything cooler then Pirate Sloth?! Absolutely not.
These are instant-buys for our collection without hesitation. We do still have pre-orders available for the 4 commons, which you can do right here. And, of course, we'll be doing our best to track down exclusives, and will announce them when they arrive!
2. Godzilla vs Kong
Nothing is more badass than Godzilla and Kong laying a smack-down in the middle of a people-and-building-filled city as their battle arena. Well, other than maybe the two squaring off on an aircraft carrier at sea as featured in the Godzilla & Kong movie trailer! This trailer looks sick and the hype around these Pops is off the charts! The detail on them just looks so cool.
You can secure your Godzilla vs Kong pre-orders with kdogandfish.com! We will be tracking down the exclusives and will announce them when we have them in-hand.
3. Comic Covers - Superman (Action Comics)
Funko might owe us an assist on this one! We have been talking about how cool it would be for them to do something like this and POOF here it is! Assist or not, holy cow is this ever cool!! Featuring the comic cover as the backdrop, much like how the Pop Album line does it, is just an incredible idea and so visually stunning. We can't wait to see where this line goes next... X-Men #1, Avengers #1, Batman #1... could even branch out from Marvel / DC and be Conan comics, Micky Mouse comics, Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters... Spawn??? For now, we can get this awesome Action Comics #1 with Superman! You can pre-order yours from kdogandfish.com right now!
Honourable Mentions:
The Entertainment Earth Exclusive Krang from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is outrageously cool! And the Pinocchio Pops are really cute as well.
Browse what is still available and secure your Funko Fair 2021 pre-orders from K-Dog & Fish here.
Well, there you have it, everyone! A complete breakdown of every Funko Fair announcement, our Top 3 Must-Haves, and the link to pre-order yours from kdogandfish.com 😊 Stay tuned for announcements from us when we get some of those Exclusives in-hand!
As always, thanks for stopping by. Hope to see you again soon for our next 4 O'clock Friday Show or Virtual Garage Sale Funko Auction on Instagram Live!

While some might think that the overlap of Pop Culture and Sports is an obvious one, Funko took their time testing the waters at first to see if Funko Funatics around the world wanted to see their favourite athletes and sports icons turned into collectible Pops. Using the Funko mobile app, you can see the number of Sports-related Pops released by year below...
2012: 42
2013: 11
2014: 56
2015: 48
2016: 103
2017: 129
2018: 150
2019: 223
Obviously, the fans have spoken and Funko heard you! From increasing the number of athletes per sport, per wave, and deepening the 'Legends' rosters, Funko has gone all-in, hail mary, flying V, swinging for the fences with Sports Pops. And as a brand new wave of NFL Pops have just dropped, and with a new wave of NBA & NHL Legends adding to a year that brought us Tennis, Golf & Boxing Legends, we wouldn't blame you if it was a bit overwhelming.
Today we're going to highlight some of the new & upcoming Sports Waves that we're most looking forward to.
---
Blue forty-two. Blue forty-two. Hut! Next Wave of NFL Pops!
2018 NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes highlights the "Class of 2020" when it comes to NFL Pops coming soon. With all-new poses, these football Pops look awesome! Mike Evans, Dalvin Cook, Alvin Kamara, JJ Watt, D.K. Metcalf, Derrick Henry, Nick Chubb, Lamar Jackson, George Kittle & Jimmy Garoppolo make this one of the deepest waves ever for NFL fans.
These NFL Pops are all available NOW on the K-Dog & Fish website!
Play Ball! Funko Adds to MLB Pops!
Living within close proximity of Toronto means we're a bit biased when it comes to saying that we're most excited about Vladimir Guerroro Jr.'s Pop dropping this year, regardless, all of the the newest wave of MLB Pops look fantastic! The detail on Yankees Catcher Gary Sanchez is great and he'll look perfect next to Yankees teammate Gleyber Torres.
We are also excited to announce that we received a re-stock of ACE the mascot for the Toronto Blue Jays. I think I may have actually high-fived Ace at a Jays game when I was kid. He looks great.
You can find all these MLB Pops available NOW on the K-Dog & Fish website.
Turn Back the Clocks with the Newest NBA Legends!
With an outstanding 12 NBA Championships between just the three of them, basketball fans will be excited to add Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and the big man himself, Shaquille O'Neil to their Funko collection with the newest wave of NBA Legends. These three aren't alone however, as Sonics players Gary Payton & Shawn Kemp also find themselves on the list of NBA Legends to drop this year.
And how could we talk about NBA Legends without mentioning the Greatest of All-Time... Michael Jordan. We are very lucky to still have a limited number of the University of North Carolina Michael Jordan Pop (in the white jersey) available. This Pop is so cool and extremely hard to find!
All of these NBA Legends Pops are available NOW on the K-Dog & Fish website.
Bogies, Birdies & Eagles - Funko Adds Golf Legends!
To be clear, these two Golf Legends didn't see many bogies in their careers... with a staggering 135 PGA victories between them. Golf fans will be excited to learn that they can now add Arnold Palmer & Jack Nicklaus to their Funko collection.
But why stop there? We've created a very limited number of Sets that pair these two Legends alongside Tiger Woods so that you can add all three to your collection and save! That is a hole-in-one! You can find the Golf Set here.
June 19th Mystery Box Theme Unveiled?
Shhhhh! You can't tell everyone but the upcoming Mystery Box that will be dropping on Friday, June 19th will be a SPORTS MYSTERY BOX! Our last Mystery Box sold out in 5 minutes, so be ready for the launch of this one!
---
The exciting part is that these are just SOME of the Sports Pops currently available or coming soon and that there are plenty more on the horizon. We've got another wave of NHL Legends on the way - which includes Bobby Hull, Luc Robitaille & Ray Bourque - along with more NFL Legends, NBA, WWE Wrestling and more.
What Sports icon - past or present - are you waiting to see brought to the world of Funko? I'd love to see more female athletes and/or Olympic athletes make it to the Pop world. Personally though, my Sports 'Grail' would be if they ever made a Pop of my favourite hockey player Pavel Bure, the Russian Rocket. Ooooouuuu boy that would be an instant buy for me. What about you?
Be sure to keep it locked to our social media channels and make sure you're signed up for our newsletter to keep in the loop and in the know on all things Funko - including when Pre-Orders become available for some of those Pops we mentioned were coming soon!
As always, Stay Funky San Diego,

(long pause)
Joker: Come out come out wherever you are Mr. Bat! Hahahaha hahahaha hahaha
Riddler: Gimme the walkie. I have a delicious riddle for the Batman... if the Monopoly guy crosses Go... (scuffle noises)
Mr. Freeze: No, I want to freeze Batman in his tracks... (scuffle noises)
Penguin: Listen baldy, I'm the one doing the threatening here. Go run for Governor or something. You're giving me a tumor.
Mr. Freeze: It's not a tumor, it's a headaaache. Careful Penguin, I'd be happy to put you back on ice.
Poison Ivy: Oh boys, you're making me wilt. You know when you've found someone special? When you can just shut up for a minute.
Two-Face: Why don't we flip for it? You win war with guts!
Catwoman: Finally free from Arkham and I'm stuck with you bunch. Can't a woman just get a cat nap around here?
Joker: (grabs walkie) Enough! If you ever want to see Commissioner Gordon alive, or any of the Gotham City's finest, you better make your way down here to the precinct right away. Oh and one more thing... would you be a peach and pick up Harley on your way, would ya, Big Bat, I hear she's been bombing trying to do it on her own.
(radio cuts out)

As you have probably picked up, Funko has released an entire wave of Batman Villains from the Batman films that were released between 1989-1997. Let's break down the releases and which movie they appeared in.
---
The Joker - Batman (1989)
While considered by many critics to have simply been an 'average' film, the original 1989 Batman movie starring Michael Keaton featured one of the most memorable representations of the Caped Crusader's arch nemesis, The Joker. Played by Jack Nicholson, this version of The Joker was a much darker, much more sinister version of the character than had previously appeared in the original 1966 Adam West television series. Now that enough time has passed for us to see Heath Ledger's Joker, Jared Leto's Joker and of course most recently Joaquin Phoenix's Joker, where do you think Nicholson's performance ranks among them? Here are some Nicholson's Joker highlights. Decked out in his trademark purple suit, this Joker Pop is essential for Batman and DC fans alike.
Catwoman & The Penguin - Batman Returns (1992)
Once again portraying a much darker Gotham City than that of the 60's television series, Tim Burton's Batman Returns featured the return of Michael Keaton under the black cape, but this time, pitted him again two foes: Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman and Danny DeVito's The Penguin. Both of these performances gave us memorable scenes and - in our minds - remain the definitive iterations of the characters on the big screen. Sorry Halle Berry. Check out some Pfeiffer's Catwoman & DeVito's Penguin here. The detail on this Catwoman Pop is exceptional and The Penguin is definitely channeling a creepy, maniacal Danny DeVito!
The Riddler & Two-Face - Batman Forever (1995)
Featuring Val Kilmer as the re-cast Batman, the Batman Returns sequel continued the model for pitting Batman against two foes, but beyond that, did not retain much else from the groundwork that was laid in the previous two films. New director, new Batman, new musical score and nipples on the suit. Thank goodness for stellar performances from Jim Carrey as The Riddler and Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face as otherwise this isn't much of a movie to write home about. But, these quippy, colourful, eccentric villains stole the show and these pops look awesome! Just watch the original theatrical trailer for Batman Forever to get a sense of how zany the film was, but how great Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones' performances were.
Mr. Freeze & Poison Ivy - Batman & Robin (1997)
Mr. Freeze, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Poison Ivy, played by Uma Thurman, round out the remainder of the Batman Villain wave. These diabolical foes appeared in the 1997 film Batman & Robin. Batman was once again re-cast (George Clooney) and unfortunately, despite stellar performances from Schwarzenegger and Thurman, this film continued the downward trajectory that started with Batman Forever. The film was seen as such a critical failure that a sequel that had entered production called Batman Unchained was cancelled. But, there was still plenty to love about these villains who were masterfully played. Despite an emotional disconnect from Batman, Robin & Batgirl, the character development for these two villains was fantastic and you couldn't help but feel for them at times. You can see Schwarzenegger and Thurman in action here. These Pops are certified COOL... or should we say ICE COLD.

Those who know me, know that I am a huge Marvel nut and that in particular my favourite hero is the God of Thunder, Thor Odinson. However, my love for Thor and Asgard only took shape after the first MCU Thor film in 2011. That movie inspired me to go back and read hundreds of Thor comics and he has now become my favourite Marvel hero. But his are not the Marvel stories that I grew up on… I grew up with the X-Men.
It was Fall in 1992 and I was 7 years old when the X-Men animated series debuted on the Fox Kids Network and from the very first time I saw the intro sequence, I was hooked. These brightly coloured superheroes with incredible superpowers, distinct personalities and depth to their characters really stood out to me in contrast to the other media I was consuming at the time. But it was the messaging underneath the show… that of acceptance, tolerance, compassion and that being different was okay… that would really begin to shape my core values. I had all the action figures; I watched the cartoon each week and it got me hooked on Marvel comics. I could not get enough.
Fast forward to 2000 and the release of the first X-Men film. I remember being at the movie theatre for opening night and for three straight nights to follow. I saw the film 4 times in the first week and probably 8 or 9 in total. It was not the greatest movie of all-time, but it was the first time I was able to see the beloved X-Men in live action on the big screen. From the cage-fight at the beginning of the film where they introduce Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine to the Sabretooth vs Wolverine fight on the Statue of Liberty, this movie was certified cool in my books.
If you had told me then that I would be able to look forward to a total of 12 X-Men films across the next two decades, I would not have believed you, but here we are (if you include the currently unreleased The New Mutants, it makes a total of 13). There have been some outstanding entries to the franchise, namely, Logan, Deadpool 1 & 2 and Days of Future Past, along with a few that just flopped hard, such as The Last Stand and the first Wolverine spin-off, but all in all, it's been a tremendous ride and I am eager to see what will happen with these beloved mutants next now that Disney and Kevin Feige have retained the film rights.
But, before we look ahead, let us first look back and dive into these newly announced X-Men 20th Anniversary Funko Pops and try to match them with the film they are connected to:
X-Men (2000): Logan, Professor X, Magneto, Mystique
X2: X-Men United (2003): Wolverine, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Rogue
X-Men: The Last Stand (2006): Jean Grey, Storm, Beast
All 11 of these Funko Pops are currently available for Pre-Order on the kdogandfish.com - no really, click the image above for any of the Pops and it will direct you to their Pre-Order page!
Funko has also announced that there will be a Target Exclusive Metallic Mystique and a Walmart Exclusive Magneto:
Strangely, the Walmart Magneto seems to depict Michael Fassbender’s Magneto (from the X-Men: Days of Future Past film), which has us wondering if there will be an additional wave in the future with more pops from the ‘younger’ version of the characters that featured in First Class, Days of Future Past, Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix.
It would be GREAT to finally see an Apocalypse Funko Pop, though the 90’s animated series Apocalypse is still the definitive aesthetic for the character in my mind. What do you think, who could still use the Funko treatment from the X-Men films who did not appear in this first wave? Who would you like to see?

In-Stock & Ready to Ship: The Child
We start things off with the arrival of the first The Child Pop. Appearing in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, this ‘baby Yoda’ character, referred to as The Child, is still shrouded in a great deal of mystery. And while we won’t spoil the first season, in case you have yet to check it out, it goes without saying that he stole the hearts of viewers from the moment he debuted on screen. This Pop has gone on to be one of the hottest selling Pops in Funko history. We still have some in stock, you can order yours here.
Available for Pre-Order on K-Dog & Fish Website: The Child (with Frog)
The first The Child Pop from the SECOND WAVE. Fans of the Mandalorian will quickly recognize this moment from the fourth episode when The Child tried to chomp down on some local wildlife for a snack. The children he was playing with did not seem to approve of his snack choice however… you can watch the scene play out here. This Pop is available for Pre-Order on the K-Dog & Fish Website, you can Pre-Order it here.
Available for Pre-Order on the K-Dog & Fish Website: The Child (with Cup)
The next The Child Pop coming in the SECOND WAVE is quite possibly one of our favourite ‘baby Yoda’ moments from the entire series. Without giving away any spoilers, this moment also came from Episode four of The Mandalorian and has our beloved baby Yoda sipping bone broth as he observes Mando in a scuffle. You can see the famous moment play out here. Listen carefully just before he appears on screen and you can hear him sipping from the cup. Amazing. This Pop is available for Pre-Order on the K-Dog & Fish Website, you can Pre-Order it here.
COMING SOON as a Pre-Order on the K-Dog & Fish Website: Mandalorian with The Child
While not quite available just yet, we will have this available soon for Pre-Order on our website: The Mandalorian with The Child TV Moment. Finally, we see our closest to-scale pairing of Mando with his green little buddy, ‘baby Yoda’. This is probably one of the coolest TV moments – maybe the coolest Pops – ever. What else can you say other than don’t miss out. We think this will be the hottest pop in 2020.
Walmart & Target Getting Exclusive The Child Pops
Walmart and Target will each be getting an Exclusive The Child Pop. Walmart will showcase one of the moments that The Child dials into the force, while Target will be getting what looks to be a concerned or sad baby Yoda moment. We will do our best to track these guys down for the shop as well – stay tuned for more on that.
While that catches you up on all things The Child from Funko (for the moment), they also announced a Moff Gideon wielding the Darksaber Funko Pop. We do not want to dive into this one – or even show off the image of it yet – just in case you have yet to watch the first season of The Mandalorian. Trust us, it looks soooo cool! We are pumped to get our hands on it for sure.
If you are craving more Star Wars and more Mandalorian, Disney+ is preparing to release an 8-part Docu-Series that takes you behind the scenes of filming from Season 1 of the Mandalorian and will likely offer some teases ahead of the release of Season 2. You can watch a trailer for the Docu-series here.
Quick-fire Recap: You can ORDER The Child, Pre-Order The Child (with Frog) and/or Pre-Order The Child (with Cup) right now; have a TV moment, two exclusives and a Moff Gideon Pop to look forward to; an 8-Part Docu-Series coming soon; and of course… Season 2 of The Mandalorian coming this Fall. Like we said… what a time to be a Star Wars fan, right? Phew!
Stay funky, San Diego – and may the force be with you!

We’ve seen Ad Icons, Batman & Robin, Masters of the Universe, Speed Racer, The Flintstones, Thundercats and several others already make their Funko Soda Can debut. And with the four sets that were announced as part of Wondercon this past weekend, Funko is showing no signs of slowing down. Who do YOU think would make for a GREAT Soda Can treatment?
Tom & Jerry might be a fun duo to make an appearance in the Soda Cans… or maybe Guardians of the Galaxy. Tell us what you think?

Disclaimer: It might be worth pointing out that these Funko Soda Cans do not actually contain any soda or liquid – just sweet vinyl figures and a commemorative disc (like a ‘Pog’).
]]>While we still don’t know where these shared exclusives will be available to purchase just yet, Funko has tipped their hat a little bit and shared some of what the exclusives will be. And while they may still be hiding a few secrets up their sleeves, here are some of the highlights of what to expect this weekend…
1. Disney/Pixar • Miguel Rivera (Coco) & Cheshire Cat (Alice in Wonderland)
Disney / Pixar is getting some love this time around with a brand new mold for Cheshire Cat (Alice in Wonderland) and a Miguel Rivera variant from the film Coco. We think this Miguel is super cool and the addition of the guitar is a great variant from the already-released Miguel pop. As for the Cheshire Cat… that just looks awesome and it will fit in perfectly with the Alice in a Tea Cup that was a Disney Parks Exclusive. Look for that Alice Pop to raise in value as people lucky enough to snag the Cheshire look to pair them up for a spot of tea on their shelves at home!
2. DC Comics • Captain Atom
Fans of DC comics will be doing cartwheels over the announcement that Captain Atom is finally joining the Funko world with his first-ever Pop. The detail on this Pop is amazing and it’s great to see Funko dipping down into new characters like this. THIS is the kind of Pop that collectors deserve!
3. Speed Racer Soda Cans
There is no denying that the Funko Soda Can craze is now in full effect and these Speed Racer figures are awesome! There are three other WonderCon exclusive Soda Can sets coming, but we have a special place in our hearts for Speed and that Chase is just too cool. We can’t wait to get our hands on these!
Honourable Mentions • Complete List of Anaheim WonderCon 2020 Exclusives released to date...
Flocked Pokémon, Boba Fett, Rainbow Trolls, He-Man Soda Cans, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World Soda Cans, more General Mills Mascot Soda Cans, a Funko Apron and T-Shirt round out the list of announced WonderCon 2020 Exclusives.
Which ones are you most excited for? Be sure to tell us on Facebook or Instagram – and keep your eyes peeled to our Pre-Orders page for when we are able to get these and bring them to you!
As always, thanks for reading along. Stay tuned for our next blog when we break down our next MYSTERY BOX. We wonder what the theme will be this time! We are positive that it will be worthy of your attention!

Top 3 Pops, Complete List of Shared Exclusives and more!
]]>On Friday, March 13th did they ever deliver with a wide range of livestreams and video across their various social and digital channels. They held nothing back as they gave away prizes, celebrated fans who sent in photos of their cosplay attire and gave plenty of exclusive, up-close-and-personal looks at some of the Pops coming down the pipes… here are some of the highlights:
1. Game of Thrones • Dragons 3-Pack
“Where are my dragons?!” Tell Khaleesi to look no further because she can find all three of her beloved fire-breathing dragon buddies all in one convenient 3-pack! These ECCC limited edition gorgeous new sculpts will be a shared exclusive with Barnes & Noble and Books A Million. Just be careful not to whisper ‘Dracarys’ anywhere near them because they’re so hot they might just scorch the rest of your collection!
2. The Office • Dwight Schrute as Recyclops
Are you thinking green? We know Dwight Shrute sure was when he celebrated Earth Day in Season 6 Episode 10 of The Office. “Did you know that an old milk carton can be sawed in half and used as a planter?” We didn’t, but we sure do now! Wonder if we’ll see all the Recyclops variants as Recyclops evolves from a friendly environmental advocate into an unhinged, armour-toting mad man hell-bent on revenge against the Polluticorns. Such a cool Pop! This will be a shared exclusive with Walmart.
3. X-Men • Gambit
It’s incredible how many waves of X-Men Pops had to come before we finally got to see our favourite “ragin’ cajun” Gambit. It was well worth the wait however, as the detail on this Pop is unreal. From his iconic black cowl and flowing hair to the trench coat, pink shirt and staff, this Pop is certified COOL, mon ami! Makes sense that this ECCC exclusive (shared with Walgreens) arrives just as another famous X-Men, Rogue, flies into stores… allowing X-Men fans to unite one of the X-Men’s most famous couples.
Honourable Mentions • Complete List of ECCC 2020 Shared Exclusives
Milhouse from The Simpsons, a 10-inch Indiana Jones, the Great Gazoo from The Flintstones, Slime Pit He-Man, the Loch Ness Monster… so many amazing Pops coming our way, guys! Wowzers!!

Highlights, honourable mentions and more!
]]>Funko didn’t disappoint either, debuting tons of new Pops that included both new properties and new waves for some of your favourites! Without further delay, let’s jump right in to see what Funko debuted at the 2020 New York Toy Fair.
Here are my Top 3 Waves…
1. New Pokémon Pops
Gotta catch ‘em all! Funko continues to dip their toes into the Pokémon universe bringing THREE brand new characters and a new sculpt for Ash’s best buddy Pikachu. We aren’t sure what he’s so upset about… maybe it’s that he couldn’t attend the Toy Fair in person? But we have a Grumpy Pikachu making his Funko debut alongside Growlithe, Rattata and Cubone. Cubone is a personal favourite and an instant-buy for me – he just looks awesome!
2. Wonder Woman 84 Pops
We also got a first look at the Pops for what is likely to be DC’s next SMASH HIT, Wonder Woman ’84. These look amazing. That Golden Armour is just so cool. And while we got a glimpse at what Kristen Wiig’s character will look like in what is likely her ‘human’ form, I’m willing to bet the blacked-out mystery character will be her Cheetah form. Here’s to hoping the film doesn’t get bumped any further, as it has been moved twice already. The current release date for the film in theatres is set for August 14th, 2020. Fingers crossed!
3. The Mighty Ducks Pops
“But they don’t even have teeth!” “Neither do hockey players!” Quack. Quack. Quack. Quack! Oh sweet baby Jesus. This is the one I am most excited for. Funko announced at the 2020 Toy Fair that Pops for The Mighty Ducks are coming and it’s got us practicing our flying v in the driveway in anticipation.
Honourable Mentions
A first wave of pops for the Amazon Prime series the Boys, Hello Kitty, My Hero Academia, Cobra Kai, Candy Heroes and the debut of music album covers. Many of these Pops are already available for Pre-Order on our K-Dog & Fish website. Stay tuned for more details about each of these waves as we learn and see more.
And of course, don’t miss Kdog & Fish talk about their favourite NY Toy Fair reveals in Episode 21 of the K-Dog & Fish YouTube Show.
